Trixy is a lighting control app that works in conjunction with the Luxium TRX1 wireless DMX transmitter. The app can be used to create complex light shows, which can then be downloaded to the TRX1 to run.
The app functions as an easy-to-use sequence generator and should be popular both with the lighting experts, as well as with do-it-yourself types.
Sequences can be of various types from static lighting up to a 128 unit chase pattern.
The user will first connect a number of lights using the ZMX wireless DMX transmitter, and choose the DMX addresses for each lighting unit.
Then the app will connect to the TRX1 using Bluetooth. Finally the user creates a lighting command sequence and sends it to the box, which then broadcasts it out to all the lights.
Trixy can control an unlimited number of lights (but within a single DMX universe) and works best with RGBW 4-channel LED lights. Various built-in sequence types can be selected, such as Chase or Procession, and then the color palette can be chosen, the timing parameters set and finally the sequence is saved. After a number of sequences are created as desired, the entire Show is saved and it can then be downloaded and executed. There are some pre-made shows in the app so that a new user can see how they are constructed. Unlike a sophisticated DMX console, Trixy is easy and quick to learn, and makes it possible to design very complex shows with only a few touch-selections.
There is also an extensive Help menu which serves as a user instruction guide.
Trixy and the family of lighting instruments from Luxium can support a variety of events and venues, from theatrical endeavors to concerts, to weddings, corporate events and smaller events like dinner parties and dances.
